Who can play?
Adults 18+ both male and female can play. This is an adult co-ed recreational league.
What types of softball are offered?
Outdoor Slo-Pitch and Three-Pitchis offered during the spring and summer months.
Slo-Pitch operates where the opposing team’s pitcher will pitch to your team.
Three-Pitch operates where a player from your own team will pitch to your team.
When is the Slo-Pitch and Three-Pitch played?
The Slo-Pitch and Three-Pitch season runs from the beginning of May tothe end of September.
Registration will be open as of February 1st and closed May 1st.
Playoffs start the last week of August and end the last week ofSeptember.
Games are played on weeknights Monday through Thursday.
Games are played during threetime slots of 6:00, 7:15, and 8:30 pm. This is designed for after work play.
Captains receive priority in choosing a fixed day to play on based on the date their team payment was received. The soonera captain submits payment, the sooner they can select a fixed day to play on.
Where is the Slo-Pitch and Three-Pitch played?
Games are played on either 1 of 5diamonds; Highgate Park, Randall Park, Denison Park, Victoria Square, and Featherstone Park. The majority of games are played at Highgate Park, Denison Park, and Randall Park.
Regular season games, playoff games, and rescheduled games are all played at these locations.
How does the Slo-Pitch and Three-Pitch operate?
Each year, a minimum of 14 games is offered during the regular season.Playoffs consist of a three-game series which could add up to 12 extra games!!! Games cancelled due to weather are all rescheduled.
All teams make the playoffs!
All games are officiated by an NSA approved umpire.
Our league has excellent protocols and structure to prevent defaults or team no shows!
Teams have the option to participate in aSaturday/Sunday tournament during their season.
Teams only play 1 game per week, but during playoffs, could play more than 1 game per week.
All teams make the playoffs! Winning teams receive prizes and a trophy for the office!
Volleyball & Basketball
Who can play Volleyball and Basketball?
Adults 18+ both male and female can play. This is an adult co-ed league.
What type of Volleyball and Basketball is offered?
We offer an indoor league during fall and winter months.
We currently offer two tiers: Recreational, and Intermediate.
When is the Volleyball and Basketball played?
The volleyball and basketball seasons run from October to May, with fall and winter sessions held separately.
Registration will be open July 1st and closed October 1st for both fall and winter sessions.
Games are playedon one fixed day on either Tuesday or Thursday.
Games are played during threetime slots of 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm. This is designed for after work play.
Captains will receive priority in choosing a fixed day to play based on the date their team registration was received. The sooner a captain submits registration, the sooner they can select their day to play on.
Where is the Volleyball and Basketball played?
Most of our games are held at Markham’s top facility, the Markham Pan Am Centre located at 16 Main St, L3R 2E5. This facility is of Olympic standards equipped with a very high ceiling, state of the art hardwood flooring, amazing viewing areas for friends and family to come watch, and beautiful change rooms with clean showers.
We also operate out of the Markham Wesley Centre located at 22 Esna Park Drive, L3R 1E1.
How does the Volleyball and Basketball operate?
We offer a high-quality customized program like no other league! We give you what you want!
The volleyball season starts off with some free gym time to hold team try outs or team warm ups to prepare for play. We then transition into regular season games, add practice time for teams, and we finish off with playoffs at the end.
We also try our best to meet specific requests such as internal company games, extra exhibition games, and specific time slots.
Our program gives teams the ability to play volleyball and basketball in any way they want to and allows for companies to create a real team building experience.
Every game will be officiated by a referee!
Teams will only play once a week on the same day they choose for the whole season.
All teams make the playoffs! Prizes are awarded to winning teams!
There will be music and refreshments at every game!
